While I have heard that December statistically our highest rainfall month yesterday's 0.04 inches broke a 10 day dry spell and brought my readings for the month to 0.60 inches. This IS the Willamette Valley and the next 14 days CAN bring us up to the average but . . .  There is still adequate moisture for the crops, fish and wildlife, etc.  Those hurting are our ski areas and our snow-pack for summer agricultural irrigation and urban water supplies.  
Wide-spread rain is in the forecast for Tuesday so things can change.
