No rain this week allowed fields to dry some. By Thursday the 18th some farmers were able to get back into the field to continue corn harvest. A few were able harvest soybeans on Thursday but it took until Saturday before farmers really went after soybeans. Ground is soft yet but farmers are able to harvest. Temperature this morning was 25°F so plants should be done growing. High winds yesterday stripped a lot of leaves from the trees. Most people are mowing lawns for last time. Pastures are growing slower. Gardens are done growing. There is some ponding of water in tractor tracks
