Conditions are very dry. Nineteen days since the last significant rain, no rain this month.  USFS is reporting moderate risk of fire, however, local conditions are much worse.  Two forest fires are burning within a 2 mile radius (both currently contained). All surface water (wetlands, swales, ditches) which normally contain open water, are now completely dry. Wildlife is now seeking water from humans.  My honey bees are drinking from the bird baths.
