Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
Several days of temps in the high 30s and low 40s. Yellow skunk cabbage 'leaves' out. Blueberry blossoms are out in a profusion greater than I've seen in years...hope no hard freezes. Rhubarb and garlic growing, lots of pollen from the alders...many people remarking on sinus stuffiness, watery eyes (allergic/sensitivity?). More small songbirds flying through. Large group of oyster catchers seen yesterday; likely one pair will stay in the area. Black bear are out-one large boar in our yard 3 mornings ago...all neighbors taking bird feeders down for the season and garbage cans being secured. First cruise ships in this week and today the annual Litter Free community clean up.
