Conditions were the same since the last update from last week with the area seeing some measurable precipitation over this past week, but little over the past several weeks prior. The area is considered mildly dry due to the surrounding environment and ground soil still remaining dry. Some evergreen plants such as Boxwoods are still showing signs of dryness, but signs of spring have emerged with Tulips and Daffodils are emerging in the flowerbed similar to last week, sprite some flowers becoming wilted with the snow and freezing temperatures earlier in the week. Trees and the Red Twig Dogwood in the backyard have started budding. The monthly snowfall is currently so far above average for the month of April. The sump pump hasn’t been pumping due to the ground becoming drier due to the lack of rainfall received the past several weeks.
