Normally full local ponds (small ones) and streams are less than full capacity. 1.62" rain and melted snow since Dec. 1.  Twice this past week I observed vees of wild geese honking their way south. One vee had 24 birds, right overhead.  Two others were below treetops and couldn't be counted, but sounded fewer.  No open water near here to land in for rest.  Four inches of snow on ground. Snow on solar panels prevents PV generation.  Snowy weather reduced visitors to our gift shop.  Lots - as many as 30 at one time - enjoying the sunflower seeds I scattered in my back yard. Some use the heated bird bath for a drink.
